It is normal to feel some pain after the numbness wears off, particularly in the first 24 to 48 hours after your surgery. Some soreness
or discomfort at the site of the surgery may last for three to five
days. The amount of discomfort depends on the kind of surgery you have,
how healthy you are in general and how active you are.
